The mistake Manny made was leaving it in the judges hands. For such an experienced fighter and all time great he executed the close of the 9th rd like a rookie. Instead of pounding the body when he had him hurt and then Connecting with the left when it was there, he threw about 30 wild left hands without connecting and punched himself out. He then coasted in the 10th to try and rest. That gave Horn time to recover

he didn't seem like he was as mad about the decision as most fighters would have been. Maybe it's a culture thing

Horn was the aggressor, he dictated pace of fight, Manny looked like Floyd running from Horn. He should have put him away in the 9th round and didn't, he's old it's time to retire Manny lost this fight because he is not what he used to be and that's ok it happens as you age. Horn sounded like an idiot though calling out Mayweather

He tried to end the fight in the 9th, he was throwing wild haymakers the last half of that round.

I thought he seemed super pissed. To the point of just being done with everything and not giving a shite about what was going on. Maybe we just have different views though

What made you think horn was the winner?
Pac landed more shots while not throwing as many and the shots were cleaner.

Now that's the real robbery ! That difference in pay is abysmal, well, at least in the rematch he'll get a good bit deal more it would seem. Listen, I'm late to this party and sure I'll be in the minority on this, but I don't care and will say it anyways. But I don't think Manny Pacquiao won that fight. He looked old and past his prime.

People wanna get all outraged and shite because they get caught up in the Pacman hype, but that guy was winning the fight up until that big 9th round for Pacquiao. I thought he was hitting Pacquiao and putting up a good fight up until the 9th. There was was a lot of holding and clutching shite going on on both sides that resulted in terrible head butts and all. Both of them had nasty gashes opened up, Horn over his eye and under his eye, Pacquiao high up on his forehead. Horn kept going in, but he was hitting Pacman with shots when he would run in, Pacman hit him with shots too, but not as many as people think he did.

I think people get caught up in all the punches that Pacman throws, but a lot of those punches miss just like they did in that first fight with Bradley, and I thought he lost that fight too. Horn won 2 more rounds imo after the big 9th round for Pacman, and imo won the fight 115-113 like those 2 judges scored it. That lady judge that had it 117-111 must have fell asleep or something.

Actually pac landed about or over 30% of his punches; horn threw more punches and landed 10-15% less.

If you want to say horn won bc he was moving forward and being aggressive then ok. But at the same time, the bigger and taller fighter should do that anyway, so I can't give him points for that bc that's a given.

Unfortunately, we'll be watching Manny for another 5+ years.

His finances are in awful shape - even after his share of the Mayweather purse.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the rematch of these two in less than six months.

You are everything thing wrong with boxing.
That was the biggest rip off in boxing in a long while

Teddy Atlas is a boxing purest and had the balls to tell the guy I respect your heart but you didn't win that fight.

Horn was the agressor, but he was counter punched all night. There's a big difference between being good and agressive and being agressive and counter punched. Pac-man landed almost double the punches and threw less and definitely caused more damage.

Exactly

If you aren't effective with aggressiveness and your opponent throws less but lands more than you, then the opponent should win

I'm everything that's wrong with boxing?? What frickin ever, tard! Opinions are like apple and oranges, it doesn't fricking matter. Some of y'all saw a different fight, that's cool, but don't try and sway me with your bullshite. Pacquiao didn't win that fight imo, he won the 9th round big, but he didn't win the fight. I don't care what ComPunch stats say, I never did put much stock into those computerized stats that HBO started anyways.

I just don't see how Jeff won the fight much like how you can't see how pac did.

I just don't think you should win a boxing match or fight just on throwing more punches and being aggressive alone. i mean horn was th bigger and you get fighter so I can't reward him for pressing forward bc that is somethings g he should have been able to do.

He had the right game plan but he needs to work more on defense and agility and quickness.

And why not?? Pacquiao does it all the time, he just got the table turned on him this time. Also, I don't think anything was wrong with Horn's defenses, he got messed up mostly from head butts with cuts over and under his eye, but he avoided most of the hard shots from Pacquiao. The 9th round for him was brutal as he got tagged and took a beating, but he came right back in the 10th boxing and avoiding Pacquiao punches to win that round.

Listen, people always get caught up in the amount of punches that Pacman throws and think he's kicking arse. But if you look carefully at a lot of those blows they miss or are just glancing blows. I'm sorry I just don't think he won.
