We are all heartbroken this morning but I for one am proud to be a part of a great LSU Baseball fanbase.

To those that traveled, you put on a great spectacle and the electricity within TD Ameritrade was palpable on TV.

Way to geaux Tiger fans! You did your job and lived up to the "Baton Rouge North" hype.

Just next time, do us a favor and stay til the end...

Agreed. The fact that we pretty much make the CWS a home game for us is incredible. Just wish we could have finished the job.

Just to be sure does that include the folks that vacated the premises in the 8th last night and decided not to stay to give our guys a standing O when they came off the field when the game was over.

That was an incredibly terrible look on TV....made LSU fans look like bitches.

It's sucks we didn't win or play better for all the fans that traveled there. But it has to be great for the program for kids around the country to see how our fans support them if they come to LSU compared to other teams.

Cruise control set. Threw out any depressing music. Just cranked up some STP. And grabbed a liter of cola. 579.25 miles to go

More than likely the fans leaving early were Omaha locals as the game was "decided".

The announcers making that comment against LSU can STTDB. It was an a-hole statement especially considering the number of LSU fans present.

LSU reinforced itsepf as a fanbase that travels better than anyone.

That shite is noticed by selection and bowl committees.

Agree. It was a tough result but incredible seeing the display of support.

All the people that were leaving in the 8th in the area we were sitting were Omaha locals. I didn't see an LSU fan in my area leave early.

Also they had 200 LSU fans at the bus when the LSU players boarded it. The Florida bus had a fraction of that.

Lsu has a reputation for not traveling well to bowl games. LSU baseball fans traveling to the CWS has nothing to do with bowl selections in football. You people amaze me with this type stuff.

And all the LSU fans leaving in the 8th when LSU got down by 4 looked terrible on tv. Not to mention littering the feild with debris after the interference call.

I know. I said to my dad, "where are they going? Back to their hotel?!?"

It's not like any of them were heading home like an early football game. Jeez. If you travel to Omaha, what's 1 more inning going to hurt?

I saw people leave early, but very few were clad in purple in gold. Those were probably the casual Omaha fans.

I was amazed at how few UF fans were there. Look at the crowd in this picture and you'll see hardly any clapping or celebrating.

Florida should be embarrassed. They had maybe 200 fans in attendance.
