Just my experience in trying to buy tires online by the time I paid mount and balance I wasn't saving really any money

add to 3-4 tire rotations over 50-60k miles and 1 or 2 tire balances and it definitely comes out even(if your tire place does rotations and balance with a purchase).
Allied will almost match $to$ on Honda Accord OEM spec'd tires. So yea.

If you are the kind of person that likes to give business to locally owned places, they usually will offer a price-match guarantee on anything you can find online.

Nope any tire place will install. I paid $20 to swap out tires my DS said it was worth every penny! I agree since he would have made me help him change the tires!!

I had no problem finding someone to mount/balance however, after paying for that, the cost came out similar to what I would have paid if I had purchased locally anyway.

Costco will mount / balance/ nitrogen fill/ and install for $15 a tire.

It was only for tires bought at Costco when I called last year.

Edit* - I have an odd tire size that forced me to buy all 4 online. Costco only sold one model that was very expensive. It was about $120 online per tire vs $380 per tire at costco. I had no problem getting someone on Essen to install and balance.

Edit2- I DID find that Costco batteries were a very good value.

BYOP

That's a great idea. I haven't seen one of those in the NOLA metro area. I have a mechanic who lets me do that. Daughter has an older BMW with about 160k on the clock. Just bought a thermostat, tensioner, and drive belt for about $80 all in online. Prob would have cost me triple that or more if I went to a regular shop.
