Saw the new Pirates film tonight, actually not that bad.

Went in with a date expecting to be bored outta my skull but it was actually a fun movie and it ended the franchise on a really good note.

That decision will most likely come down to money. If this thing makes bank they will keep churning them out.

My 15 year old saw it with friends.
She really liked it and said it was as good as the first and better than the others.

I wouldn't say it's as good as the first, but it was a lot better than anticipated. Thought the Will Turner and Elizabeth parts felt forced. If they do end up making another, hopefully they improve their roles.

Critics hate this franchise. The new Pirates was easily the best film in the franchise since the original. I do wish Will Turner was in the film more.

I didn't like the last movie much at all, and I'm a huge fan of the franchise. I heard this new one is a lot better though, so I guess I'll check it out eventually.
