However the Democrats still have contend with this:

Maddow has the Ossoff lost figured out though:

Ossoff was spotted on his vacation today:

I hope they believe that like all the polls they trust. It's really worked out beautifully for them.

I was listening to Bloomberg this morning and they were saying that Tom Price basically ran unopposed in November. The Democrat on the ballot was just a name. He LITERALLY raised $0 for his campaign. Ossoff raised $25mm. Price was also a six-time incumbent.

This is true of a lot of these special elections. The GOP members leaving office are long term, high ranking party members. They are being replaced by lesser known candidates and their replacements are facing everything the Dems can throw at them.

If anything, these losses might prove that the Dems can never flip these districts. The conditions will never be more favorable than they are now.

ETA: Maddow is racist, spreading that blacks don't vote in the rain stereotype.

Makes you wonder who they're trying to convince, is their base that fragile?

Jokes on Maddow, the Dems had a lead before the weather became an issue. Excuses, excuses.

It's always an excuse with these people. Never any introspection or going back to the drawing board.

It's why they'll continue to lose. And the wheel will keep turning, the cycle will perpetuate.

0-4 in special elections. Probably won't even qualify for the mid-terms with a record like that.
