Watching the 2011 team come out of the tunnel for Oregon. Hell that whole season, you could tell when LSU was coming out that tunnel, they was gone bust your head open.

We kicked a FG if I remember right because Peterson pussed out at the goal line. Awesome 4th down play though.

October 12, 1997. LSU upsets Florida, with Cedric Donaldson making a touchdown on a key interception.

I'd also like to add PP7's punt return TD against WVU.

JJ'S 1st quarter 70+ yard TD run up the middle helped us beat Tenn along with Ridley'a free extra play.

Football: 2001 vs. Auburn. Auburn penalty before the game lets the Tigers kick off from midfield, Saban pulls onside kick to start the game. Tubby's reaction was priceless. LINK

Baseball: Tigers score 18 runs in one inning on Georgia Tech in the 1996 regional final. LINK

Basketball: 1988, Chris Jackson (53 points) destroys Florida in Jortsville LINK

Many don't talk about Skyler Green against UGA 2003. That moment, that day, we knew that the team was special.

No one has mentioned the 03 Regional where we walked off UNC Wilmington in the 11th inning?

Or the Irvine Super Regional...

I was going to say the same. Along with Hester stopping that guy in his tracks, that was one of the best thrown/placed balls and best catch I've seen.

I still want to jump up and get excited when I watch it

LSU's 23-3 victory over USC in 1984. Everyone remembers the 1979 game but the victory in 84 is completely forgotten. And, USC finished ranked in the Top Ten that year after their Rose Bowl win.

Not reading 5 pages. Maybe this has been mentioned.

In 1982, Derrick Taylor made a 35-footer to beat Auburn at the buzzer. Jim Hawthorne just about lost his mind.

The first half of LSU-Florida St. in 1991. For all of Hallman's faults, he was able to get the team ready for big games as the underdog. Unfortunately we were never able to finish those games, save for Bama in 93.

That was a fun game, rain and all.

Not getting embarrassed was a moral victory in those days.

1986 - LSU beating Kentucky in the Elite 8 to advance to the Final 4. It put Sky Walker off the court. The setup is the key, though: LSU lost 2 heartbreakers to UK during the regular season (including a buzzer-beating, 26-foot [2-pointer!] by Roger Hardin. LSU thus entered the SEC Tourney in rough shape, essentially needing to win it all to get a bid. They scrapped their way to the title game against...Kentucky. They gave it their all, but came up just short. I can still remember how distressed Derrick Taylor was after the game. However, the committee recognized something and gave the Tigers the 11 seed. They lucked into hosting the 1st 2 rounds @ the Assembly Center (pre-PMAC naming!). 2 OTs to beat Purdue. Buzzer beater by Anthony Wilson to beat Memphis State. Traveled to Atlanta to beat peak Bobby Cremins Ga Tech team @ the Omni...leading up to the FOURTH go round with the Wildcats. And they won. It was absolutely incredible.

It may just be the fact that I was living in Atlanta at the time, but IMO this game is extremely underrated in terms of putting LSU in the national spotlight.

GT's stock was sky-high and no one really gave LSU a chance. It also set the scene for LSU's SEC championship run the next year.
Josh Reed...boy that was a helluva game!
