Point guard Chris Paul reportedly plans on meeting with the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets in free agency. Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reported the news relayed by an anonymous executive Thursday. Paul has an early-termination option in his contract with the Los Angeles Clippers and is expected to become a free agent this offseason. Turner added that the Clippers have become "nervous" about reports of mutual interest between Paul and the San Antonio Spurs. To combat the possibility of losing Paul and/or power forward Blake Griffin, the Clippers added Hall of Famer Jerry West to their front office as a consultant Thursday, per Turner.

Why would CP go to Houston when James Harden plays point guard for them?
And lol at the thought of him ever entertaining the thought of Denver.

Don't you sometimes pretend to be a Pels fan?

No one on Pels Talk realistically thinks we are even going to pursue CP3, let alone get him.

no way this happens. james isnt a superteam kind of guy

He just wants to be courted like every other guy who goes through the FA process. Don't see him giving up all that extra money LA can give him unless he honestly thinks he can win a ring with the Spurs.

What's better than one really good player that can't deliver in the playoffs?

Not sure about the fit.
But he is a great player.
Also not sure who they'd let go to make room.

It's a bad fit. And Chris's defense is going to decline sooner than later.
