I bought one of those electric pole saws from harbor freight. Let me tell you, that damn thing chews thru limbs.

I've always thought electric was for twigs. I'll consider it. Can it do 4-6 inch limbs?

I have a harbor freight electric pole saw and also a gas pole saw. I grab the HF electric every time if electricity is available. It's lighter than the gas one. I have abused the shite out of HF one and if I tear it up I can buy another one for $70. Keep the chain sharp and it will cut with quickness.

I have one as well. Had been thinking about buying one, then happen to get a HF sales paper in the mail with a coupon for the polesaw. I've used the shite out of it.
