Pretty sure it was Meet The Beatles followed shortly thereafter by High Tide & Green Grass - Rolling Stones. Junior High or early High School.

Cheap Trick - Heaven Tonight, 13 years old

I actually saved an entire summer to buy my first stereo and 7 records all at one time. The Cheap Trick record was the serious must-have out of the bunch. I had to find the "Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright" song. Had no idea what it was called.

The other 6 included:
Ted Nugent - State Of Shock
REO Speedwagon - Live, You Get What You Play For
And 4 others I can't remember.

This was about 100 years ago.

That was probably the first one I remember owning myself. It was definitely the first CD in my family. My parents had cassettes and records that we listened to growing up. I was probably 11 or 12 when I got this one.

i bought Led Zepplin IV for $.50 at a garage sale when i was 9. Didn't have a clue who they were and then proceeded to wear that LP out. every time i hear tunes from that album it reminds me of my childhood!
