Is Ashley Ambrose the best 33 in Saints history?
Was Hughes 33 when he had his punt returning going on? For some reason I think he switched to 33 much later - could be a wrong.

Ambrose was a legit #1 CB and arguably the best in Saints history until McKenzie and Greer.

Now Hughes may not be some of y'alls favorite Saint, especially the new, younger crowd, but he is a Saints HOF though that set records as a electrifying kickoff and punt returner. He is the Saints all time leading returner in both kickoffs and punts. Michael Lewis may have edged him out on punt returns, but I'm not sure about that. Hughes set NFL records for kickoff return yards and average in a game as well as led the league in his rookie season in punt return yardage.
