Rangers were hoping they were done with GOATcock after his masterful performance earlier this month in Arlington. Unfortunately for them he has other plans.

I was just coming to post this exact same question.
Wife and I are finally considering cutting the cable, and using the Fire TV paired with hulu and DirecTV Now we'll be able to watch pretty much anything we do now except for MLB Network and the Astros. I figured there has to be some way to stream them... if I wasn't in the "home market" I'd just do the $50 father's day MLB.tv deal, but that's pointless since the Astros are blacked out here.
So... best way to stream Root Sports (or the opposing team's broadcast really) using a Fire Stick or Fire TV?

I could be wrong but I don't think there is a legal way to do it.
I think you have to stream, not that dissimilar to Cardinals' front office when they hacked us. Not that you would know anything about that. But that's none of my business.

Doesn't at&t own root sports now? I wonder if in the near future we'll be able to watch them thru direct tv now
