Two. One is about to get the big ol' cancellation because the auto pay feature didn't happen, paid literally 3 hours late, and they are trying to hit me with a 25 dollar charge.
I'm calling customer service today to get it wiped out, still annoying as hell.

Is that a cc though? My wife has one, but it is tied to her checking account and acts as a debit card.
Target has a debit card and a credit card.

Zero. If I don't have it -- I don't spend it outside of a car/house/major purchase.

I have five.
Chase Sapphire Reserve
Chase Freedom
Nearly all personal purchases are on those two for the points
Capital One Spark Business for all business purchases.
Amex Delta Skymiles Gold (replaced by Sapphire but keeping open for Delta flights and purchases)
Capital One Quicksilver (keeping open but never use, no annual fee)
So. Many. Points. Now I just need time to use them.

The thousands of dollars in free flights, hotels, and upgrades say otherwise. I charge every thing possible on credit cards.
We keep one card we've had for 16 years and then rotate with different cards depending on points and sign up bonuses offered.

Anyone who doesn't have one or multiple rewards credit cards used regularly is either too dumb or irresponsible to accept free money. It could be as simple as cash back or as complicated as miles/points.

Sorry for your simpliton mind. You are giving up hundreds or thousands of dollars a year. You are also decreasing your net worth by not using float opportunities to keep more cash on hand.

Posted on 6/13/17 at 8:38 am to AlbertMeansWell

credit cards you currently have?
I don't do credit cards. I use a debit card (with Visa logo) and it works just like your credit card but no debt.
