I just want it to stop raining in central alabama so my new sod doesn't die.

It's struggling as it is with no sun + constant wet conditions

I have a flight scheduled from Houston (Hobby) to NOLA on Thursday at 5:30pm. Think I'll be ok? Should I make other arrangements?

Well I don't know about the rest of you but I'll definitely be deflating my pool in preparation.

Some of us were asking legitimate questions and it helps to hear what others are doing. On that note, been looking at ways to drain the pool. My sand filter and pump have no place to hook a backwash or waste hose. So, does that mean if I switch the pump to waste it will simply divert into the sewer drain and this lower my water level? Sorry for the legit question.

Correct. Drain a few inches off and monitor during storm and you should be fine.

Let me just remind everyone that this clownshow insisted that this storm was going to Mobile.

Also, here's what that clownshow said in August

quote:

I will stick by what I said earlier. BR won't get near 10-15 inches of rain, unless this system moves in a more northerly direction. I just don't see anything pulling it north.

Everyone already knows to ignore dukke. There are a handful of posters that legit know what they are talking about. They have proved it over and over again. Dukke isn't part of that group.

This applies to literally every single thing he says. Its not just specific to the weather.

Never seen a person who claims to absolutely be certain about so many different things, yet be dead wrong about nearly every single one.

That high pressure system in your first map is gonna push the storm on a more easterly track... I still say Mobile.....

The ULL to the west is really shearing this thing and feeding it dry air.
