8 teams will advance to the College World Series in Omaha, the winner of this series being one of them. That starts out as 2 double elimination brackets of 4 teams each, followed by a best-of-3 championship series between the bracket winners.

Well, the last thing I wanted was playing LSU in your stadium for a super regional. The theory that it's hard to beat a team so many times is garbage in my opinion and here is why...:

MSU played 5 games coming out of losers bracket. With an already thin pitching staff, that is not good. Secondly, LSU has found their groove late in the season and you guys are on fire. Third, we got the pitching performance of a lifetime out of a guy the first game vs USM. I admit, he was unreal but there is a reason he is not a weekend starter.

That was magic, no doubt, one of the best pitching performances I saw all year. But lightning rarely strikes twice. It was his day and we do not have depth in pitching to take this series. Our only hope would find a first game win and vs your ace, I doubt that happens.

I am sold on Andy for the future though. What he pulled off this season is remarkable.

I would be sold too if I were you guys. Many people thought he would make a great head coach, and that certainly seems to be the case. It was kind of a gamble for a big time program to take on a young coach with no experience, but I think it will pay off big time for you guys.

I wish he would have left the SEC for his first head coach gig. He's going to be a pain in our arse.
