A convenience store in Tennessee known for embracing controversy is raising eyebrows with a scrolling message on its digital sign.
The message posted outside the Lewis Country Store in Nashville Friday morning reads: "$50,000 reward for Kathy Griffin's head delivered."

Nope. That should be illegal. And I expect it is.

Absolutely. One could argue they are inciting violence but I don't think anyone is taking the store seriously. It's stupid of them, but so what. Freedom of speech allows you to say stupid shite.

Just being devil's advocate here, but could KGs picture be construed as a call for Trump's head by a reasonable person? What about an unreasonable one?

Free speech is free speech

Free speech is fine but offering money is a little more IMO without a disclaimer saying it's a joke, even though it should be obvious
I'm fine with them receiving any ridicule Kathy did, and would even understand legal action due to the monetary offer.

All fun and games until someone delivers the head or tries.
Then probably an accessory or sonspiratir to murder.
Maybe even murder. What's the difference between this and offering money for someone to kill another person.

No. Actually, a reasonable or unreasonable person may conclude that the head is already severed and so there is nothing more to do in that regard.

No one takes the offer seriously though, no reasonable person. So free speech is still just free speech. If it were a legitimate offer (or construed as one) that's different.

The difference is no reasonable person takes this as a legitimate, serious offer.
Paying someone to murder somebody is a real, legitimate offer. And very illegal.

I know it shouldn't be taken seriously, just saying a business offering money without a clear disclaimer is far worse than a comedian posting a picture IMO.

Guys, relax. I'm pretty sure it's just a joke.

That's as dumb as what Kathy Griffin did. Shameful act in my opinion.
