Chris blair does a good job in my opinion, but do any of you want a "real" tiger fan?

I don't know. In some moments he sounds like Hawthorne and I feel at home again.

He's a good guy and has a good radio voice but my opinion is he's not very good. Listening to a game on the radio and I find myself struggling to clearly picture what is happening. With Hawthorne to me it was like I was watching the game. At least before he got older and almost scenile lol

I think Chris does a phenomenal job. I think he'll grow into a huge Tiger fan in time.

He is about as good an announcer you can get. He already seems pretty passionate but his fandom will grow as his career continues. He could be here for the next 20 years

I kind of got tired of hearing Hawthorne overreact and exaggerate things when a team put together 2 or 3 good plays against the Tigers. It only got worse as he got older and Miles' tenure began coming to a close.

"And my goodness GRACIOUS the receiver is left wide open, nobody within 15 yards of him! Eventually he's tackled, for an 8 yard gain."

I like him. If I can nit pick, he needs to call balls and strikes faster. Most time the crowd lets us know before he says it.

He's pretty milquetoast right now, but he'll get better as he gets more confident. A "real" tiger fan would almost certainly end up being less capable.

The only thing I don't like about him is the you can pucker up and kiss that baby goodbye on every homerun... He needs to change it up some.

Other than that he's awesome.

Jeez, give him time to settle into it. Right now, it's still just a "job", he has the voice and skills but not the passion. That will come over time.
