I'll be in ATL for July 4th to visit my brother and go see the Astros game. Is there anything else that I should do while in town? Any places I must go eat?
TIA
TIA

What do you like to do? What kind of food? How old are you?

Swingin Richards is a fine establishment.

Booze, steak, 33
I'm really not a fan of strip clubs if that helps
We have tickets to both the July 4th and 5th baseball games, so really I need before and after game plans.

STATS is a pretty cool sports bar downtown.

Had a fantastic meal at Holeman & Finch a couple weeks ago. They apparently have an off the menu burger which is supposed to be amazing, but they were out when we went. Still greatly enjoyed the apps and duck confit. Ladybird for brunch/lunch and drinks, walk down the Beltline to Krog St. Market.
Had a blast at the aquarium, it's massive.

College Football Hall of Fame and Aquarium are great to visit, but both can get very crowded. Aquarium can be a real pain if crowded, to the point of not being really enjoyable.
If you like Texas style bbq, check out Fox Bros, either at SunTrust or the original on DeKalb Avenue.

Don't go to the Aquarium. I mean, if you're really into it it's worthwhile, but if you're like me, sitting on patios drinking craft beer will be better.
Ponce City Market is pretty cool and worth a visit if you have time. Plenty of places to drink and hangout. Inman Park/Krog Street is great, just not really close to where you'll be for the games. A little closer is the westside stretch which has several solid places to eat and drink. The Battery is solid but you'll want to branch out beyond that.
Bar/eatery suggestions:
Cypress Street Pint and Plate - Good patio, located in midtown. There are several very good patios in the heart of Midtown, but note that many are gay-centric. They're perfectly fine should you end up there, but they're slammed for the 4th. I like Cypress Street the best, but it's not that close to anything else.
Six Feet Under - Either location has a great roof and good craft beer. It's not extraordinary but it'll be lively.
Barcelona - It's a small chain but it's quite good. Both have good outdoor seating. Good choices if you have females accompanying you. Located in good parts of town relative to other stuff (Inman Park and West Midtown).
JCT Kitchen - Also on westside, they've got solid food and good drinks. All the outdoor areas will be packed, but it's a good spot. Make a reservation if interested.
If you want a classier place to drink, you might try the Bar at St Regis. There are strivers here but it's actually pretty nice.
Steak - For me it is 1) Hals 2) Bones 3) Rathbun steak/Chops (tie) in that order. Hals is noisy and old, Bones is subdued and classy.
Johnnys Hideaway is probably the most fun novelty bar in Atlanta (better than Clermont even, honestly). But it's slammed most of the time.
In general, I wouldn't bother with Buckhead proper unless you're doing it for a prime steak place or Johnnys

I can't recommend Cypress Street Pint and Plate enough. It's my goto spot before Tech games if we aren't tailgating.
Ponce City Market and Krog are pretty similar and fairly close to each other.

There are a couple breweries on the westside that wouldn't be too far. Monday Night is always a good time with their outdoor area.

Bones for the best old school steak and service.
Marcel if you want a more interesting / younger vibe.
The Inman park area is full of people to look at with some good food. Barcelona, Sotto Sotto, a good sushi place and an actually decent sports bar but the name escapes me (STATS is terrible)
