Geoffrey rush is a fine actor. The original pirates of the carribean is actually one of my favorite movies. Might have to go check this one out.

Since the first PotC, I always thought his performance never got nearly the attention it deserved. And the fact that he is such a meek type of guy in real
life (and most of his roles) only accentuates the greatness of his acting performance in this role.

Jack Sparrow was incredible the first time we saw him. Totally unique character, mick jagger mannerisms and tics paired with the pirate shtick. Maybe we're tired of the character now but he's still the best ever.

Critics loved the first one. That was the only one I liked. I watched the second and first half of the third before I called it on that franchise.
