Looking at putting security cameras on the outside of my house, and I need suggestions. Do NOT want a subscription based plan, something I can install myself. One caveat: it'll have to be wireless, as wiring anything in this house would be a major job! I would appreciate any advice!

I just installed a Lorex camera system. Go to their website. LINK / They are running a spring sale. I bought a $2300 system for $392. It is a 1080p system and I love it. My cousin saw mine and ordered one.

I just purchased the IP cameras from LA Security. LINK

They are the Power over Ethernet cameras. Great quality and easy to set up. Website has a 25% off sale right now.

I purchased 6 cameras and a 2TB NVR with all needed cables for 730$.

For the price, ring. The subscription is literally 60 bucks a year and it's all in the cloud. I know you said you didn't want subscription, but it's a good system for dirt cheap.

If you want it to be a quick job to avoid letting your woman know you're watching her you can tell us.

Do you have a Costco member ship? They have a great system with ultra high quality cameras. Eight cameras and dvr for $500 with infrared to cut down false recordings.
