The Road to Hana - It's like a slow motion roller coaster!

Been moved to the travel board, where it belonged. Thanks admins!

I appreciate it, I am definitely taking notes on all the advice! Planning for around April, going with another couple, SIL and BIL. They've been once, but stayed on the big island. Lots of planning head!

I appreciate the advice! I'm thinking we'll probably do the same as you and stick to the lush eastern side of the "highway", turn around in Hana and head back. We'll probably do some snorkeling and swimming too, really looking forward to this trip!

We are planning a trip to Maui next year, and I've heard that the Road to Hana is a must, so it is definitely in the plans. Couple of questions if you don't mind:

1) What is the "other side of the loop" of the Hana Road like, I thought it was pretty much drive to Hana, turn around and drive back. I know you didn't do it, but from what you've heard, is it worth doing it?

2)What are other must do items in Maui besides the National Park?

Thanks
I'm actually favoring the Lorex. High quality, easy to install. Thanks for the input!
Looking at putting security cameras on the outside of my house, and I need suggestions. Do NOT want a subscription based plan, something I can install myself. One caveat: it'll have to be wireless, as wiring anything in this house would be a major job! I would appreciate any advice!
Man, I was a volunteer fireman for 6 years and had a slightly similar experience. 4 teens got t-boned by an 18 wheeler after running a stop sign. Used the jaws of life to open up the car like a can of sardines to pull out 2 dead bodies (one of which I knew), and the other 2 that miraculously survived. That memory is seared into me forever.

Also had another call at 2am for an extracation by paramedics. Another accident, driver was dead, but needed help getting him out. Again, used the jaws, got him out, and I noticed that the radio in the truck was still playing...a song called Counting Blue Cars, in which one of the main lines is "Tell me all your thoughts on God, 'Cause I'd really like to meet her"....That too is seared into my brain.

Thanks for the great work man, brings back memories of the glory days! Lets hope those days return real soon!
This makes me think it's more political, than transgender thinking...the whole blue/red thing makes me think the teachers are trying to indoctrinate them into the thinking of the left. Start at an early age, "You want to be Blue, not Red" type of thinking. Our teachers hold more power than you know...

Good Lord, try using the spell check function, throw in some capitalization, and use a comma or period now and then.
:banghead:
It is serene. A regular guy just traveling would fly by it and not even know it's there.
That's right, and to Hot Carl, I think it was a couple of weeks. They had arrested Brandon, and he led them to the body. The cemetery where he buried her is on Hwy 10, on the way to my old hunting lease. I actually stopped there a couple of times to reflect on life. I was amazed when it hit the news of where they found her. I stopped by about a week later, and found the site, just outside the cemetery area under some bushes....It was filled with balloons and signs, such as "We never stopped looking for you, we finally found you". It really hit me hard, even though I didn't know the victim.
If you're thinking of the Brandon Lavergne case, he didn't dump her body there, he buried her in a shallow grave, not far from my home. I've seen it, it's actually at an old cemetery between Mamou and Oakdale.

Your welcome.

Thanks! I just checked their website, this is probably the route we will take!
Acadian Ambulance offers security systems also, I wonder what they're like?
Must be a Vivint salesman amongst us to downvote my OP
