George Friedman seems to think its about happen very soon

I thought we were at least a year or two away from pulling the trigger if fat boy kept going full speed ahead his ballistic missile program.

Speaking Monday to a rapt audience at the 2017 Strategic Investment Conference in Orlando, Friedman said that while it is unlikely the US will take action before President Trump returns home at the weekend, North Korea’s actions appear to have “offered the US no alternative” to a clash.
quote:
Friedman revealed that on May 20, the USS Carl Vinson supercarrier was joined off the Korean peninsula by the USS Ronald Reagan. Additionally, more than 100 F16 aircraft are conducting daily exercises in the area, a tactic which foreshadowed the beginning of Desert Storm in 1991. F35 aircraft have also been deployed to the area, and US government representatives will be briefing Guam on civil defense, terrorism, and Korea on May 31. All of these strategic moves telegraph one outcome—conflict.

Not saying he's wrong, but fear sells.

Well.... he is trying his best to jump into the express lane.

I don't know who that is or how much truth there is to it, but why does it always have to be the US?

Sounds good to me, at least the media will have something else to talk about other than muh Russians because the terrorist attack obviously wasn't enough last night.

Why does it have to be the US? Because he's mouthing off saying he's working towards hitting us with a nuke. Nuff said.

If fatboy continues with weekly tests as he is committing to, there's a good chance that we will sorely regret waiting a year.

Who else can withstand the might of the North Korean war machine?

I'm just guessing we may be the only country that could pull off a strike that will be so complex. I imagine taking out the required targets and keeping them from retaliating against SKorea and possibly Japan is going to be extremely difficult.

Maybe we can attack a sovereign nation but then deny it's war so as to make it more appeasing to the general public.

This.....
N Korea wants NO part of us...
N Korea wants NO part of us...

I'd rather they do it now while my son is 15 instead of waiting a few years and doing it when he's 18.

I want to topple that regime so we can learn more about that weird arse country, the death camps, the torture, etc.
It would be a fascinating dive into that culture.
