Several comic characters have told Kara that she appears to be stronger than Superman over the years. Superman at one time said that it only appears that she's stronger because he grew up trying to suppress his powers, while she never did.
Also in the New 52 storylines, I believe her father did some genetic alterations to her. At least, I read that in some commentary on her (I didn't read that in the comics.)
And not only did she circle the sun for 20 years, she also stayed inn the center of the sun to rid herself of a Red Lantern ring, Kryptonite poisoning and a Worldkiller possession.

I don't know if the budget can support it, but any adaptation of the Red Daughter storyline into this show would be incredible.

I'm thinking that wormhole Mon-El was swallowed up in was a multiverse breach. Maybe to Earth one where they can hook him up with some kind of tech or fancy vaccine that protects against the lead poisoning or removes all the lead from the atmosphere.

Whatever happens, I hope Kara finds him quickly. She doesn't deserve to lose the man she loves in a completely shitty way like that.

He's way too dorky IMO for Superman, but as I posted early I think he's great as Clark Kent.

The energy, atmosphere and camera work was way too hued with red and orange tones for that to be a coincidence. She just looked too pissed off and full of rage after losing Mon-El. Which is what red lanterns feed off of.
Btw, did you know that apparently Melissa Benoist and the actor that plays Mon-El are apparently dating IRL? Now I know why they have so much chemistry together onscreen.

The thing is that you can't just jump into the Red Lanterns without first introducing the Green Lanterns, especially Guy Gardner (who is the de facto bridge between the reasonable non-Atrocitus Reds and the Greens).
I will say though that the character of Bleez fits the show. If you recall, she's a red lantern who receives her ring after being gangraped repeatedly by members of the Sinestro Corps.

Yep, she left her husband for him (her ex-husband played Cat Grant's son).

Yep.
We've already seen quite a few easter eggs referring to the Green Lanterns in all of the CW DC shows and I'm only expecting guest appearances for them if they do make an appearance.

His wiki lists him as 6 foot while Cavill is 6'1". Anyway my point was Cavill has the physique (as in he's fricking jacked) that a person playing Superman should have.

No she's not. She's roughly on par with Wonder Woman, who actually routinely wipes the floor with Supergirl. This was one author pushing an agenda, which has later been retconned explicitly with both Superman and Batman stating that she only beats him because he holds back and she doesn't.
Additionally, all you have to do in order to see the truth in the above statement is by looking at the top end feats of each character. The difference between the highest feats of each character is enormous. Superman has numerous feats of obliterating planets, physically defeating beings Supergirl always loses to, etc.
Regardless of what one specific author says, in DC canon Superman > Wonder Woman > Supergirl.
