Is this sort of like black folks being OK to call other black folks the N-Word? Because I thought the gheys didn't like being called queer.

You've never heard of queer whisperers?!

Oh, I understand what's going on here. This is how the free market works. If I recall, the last time this happened Chic Fil-a crushed it in sales.
This is the peaceful protest we all wish the left would use...... until they use it?

I never said it wasn't people's right to protest. I just don't like the trend where small special interests groups pressure institutions to act a certain way and then weak administrators roll over.

quote:There's also so much outrage that the left can muster anymore. Their lives are now consumed with fake rage that they can't sustain it. Conservatives have pretty good success with their "protests" and counter-protests because they don't do it very often and when they do it, they mean it.

I have no problem with people protesting with their checkbooks no matter how misguided they may be. Welcome to the free market and capitalism!

Well, they are the Jesuits.....they have been excommunicated before.

I have Baptists frieds that send their kids to Catholic Schools because they are good. But they shouldn't get upset when their kids are asked to pray the Hail Mary in class.
This is how I feel in this instance. If you are LBGT and you choose to go to a Catholic University, you should be comfortable with the school adhering to Catholic teachings.

"Part of me is hopeful that they’ll start taking this attitude of listening to queer students and queer voices, because there are so many on this campus and just in life," said Francesco. "I really do hope this is a step, as opposed to just a final 'Oh we'll do this, we’ll give them that,' as a way to placate us. But we were very happy with the decision."
The irony in this quote just shows how lunacy is running amok for these sjws. First no one forced those students to attend a school that promotes a different set of values. Now these same offended snowflakes want the school to change the schools values to satisfy their whatever feelings. Does anybody think these people will be able to handle different cultures and values?

My next door neighbors own the Chik-fil-a in Hillsboro. The damn drive thru lines were around the block. The lines are still 10-12 deep (they have dual lines) at lunch time. It's so busy, nobody goes there anymore.

Sort of like Muslims who flee their shithole countries to come here and try to turn America into the same shithole they left.
