Bottled coca cola with salted peanuts from the vending machines. Reminds me of my grandpa.

Red Bull and vodka. In high school we'd get a pitcher of it for $12 from the old Southdowns on hwy 30. You could get 4 20oz. cups worth out of each. Now every time
I even smell Red Bull I feel like I'm going to puke.

Mad Dog 20/20. I got ruint and things got broken and the cops got called. Till this day I can't drink grape juice. I always keep a peppermint candy in my pocket for communion at church.

They started brewing it here in Asheville about six months ago and if you get it straight off the taps at their brewery it is some tasty beer.

It's amazing how good beer can taste when it's straight out of the brewery's tap.

Bushwackers with a 101 float....tastes like happiness, vacation and relaxation...all in a shake form.

As an added bonus my mother makes the best one I have ever tasted...happy Mother's Day.

Edit-honorable mention...Bloody Mary from gemini's in the quarter...anyone know if that place is still around?

That's because for some reason people in the US have a hardon for IPAs.

I fricking hate IPAs. Give me a good Imperial Stout or Saison any day of the week if we're talking craft beer.

Bingo.

There's a huge liquor store near me that has an extensive craft beer selection. I'd say 90% of the craft beers are ales, and out of those, at least 2/3rds are IPA.

The good thing is there is a decent amount of Belgian wheat ales which I do like.

I would have died. Tequila gives me the worst hangover, and I don't have to drink much of it.

Every time? That sounds like one of those "I hate it when that happens" skits from SNL. LOL!

The breweries up here have hipster craft beer specialist. If you order a regular beer like a Budweiser they won't even look you in the eye as they give it to you. They generally just look over the top of their black rim glasses with a condescending smirk of disgust.

everything has a time and a place

ordering a bud heavy at a craft beer place is about the same as ordering chicken nuggets at a seafood restaurant
