Lots of them - usually first time drinking it and related to travel:

Land in Rio, go to lunch and have a Caipirinha - had 2, was warned ahead not to have 3

First Mai Tai first time in Hawaii

First day in Lima - Pisco Sour

BVIs for dinner - a shot of gin in a freshly opened coconut with the coconut water

First Vodka Tonic in my 20s got me hooked and moved to Vodka martini with olives

First Hendricks and cucumber

Tasting good tequilas and mexcal with a colleague in Mexico City with sangrita

Pedro Ximinez - tastes like my grandmother's fig preserves

Not a beverage, but the lobster roll I had at Red's in Wiscasset, ME ruined me on lobster for life. That was when we first got to Maine and the rest of the week I was disappointed every time I ate lobster.

Might've been one of the best things I've eaten in my life.

Can't smell Jager without being reminded of Fred's and LSU touchdowns.

Jameson has made me a better man.

I lost my virginity after splitting a bottle of peach schnapps... Couldn't steal anything else from her parents liquor cabinet. Needless to say, it was such a disappointing event for her and I doubt she ever drinks it again.

Bottle of this led to a night of card games, a water hose battle with a Hungarian chick, waking up with a Mexican chick, and a missing eyebrow...

Shroom koolaid is pretty solid stuff, never disappointed. Some of the experiences after drinking are stories we laugh about for a long time so I would say it's a beverage that left a lasting impression

And I bet an even longer morning. I learned some valuable lessons doing that kind of shite in high school and into college.

No kidding. I woke up the next morning in my buddy's sunroom, they had to go on a church ski trip the morning of the first so I woke up at his house around 10 am. And this was 2010 so LSU was on in the Capital One Bowl when I strolled downstairs. The guy is like a brother to me and our parents are really close friends.

So my mom and dad were there when I woke up and they were so thrilled to see me looking like absolute shite that morning. My friend's dad was laughing his arse off at me.

My dad never said anything to me about it so I guess he probably remembered what he was like around then and kinda laughed about it.

It may be cliche but the Ramos Gin Fizz from Sazerac at The Roosevelt is pretty damn amazing. The atmosphere, history and the drink combine for one hell of an experience.
