Lol in Atlanta the kids get corndogs and hot dogs for breakfast in the public schools. Michelle really did a good job getting healthy food pushed here. One of my friends has been teaching here for 5 years and she takes pictures of the "breakfast" food they serve to the kids and it's terrible. But the sad thing is some of them love it because they don't get to eat anything at home.

This neanderthal is dismantling every good thing the Obama's tried to enact.
It's important to realize that the Federal government does not need to decide school lunches. This is a local matter. Her nutritional "guidelines" are not very good anyway.
PS- My son eats very healthy at the age of 17 because I taught him to do so.

She's right. One the few good things to come out of the Obama Adminstration. If the taxpayer is paying for the lunch lunch, we shouldn't feed fat kids pounds of sugar thus ensuring we will pay for the obesity and diabetes down the line.
I wouldn't have a problem with it if it was only the freebie kids that had to eat that crap. Everyone had to eat it.
Some places were even checking what kids brought in to eat and if they didn't approve they took their food and made them eat Mooochelle's lunch or go hungry.

I suggest you all go look at the school lunches they serve. It's so disgusting I'd rather starve than eat it (I'm a teacher). Then when they do have something halfway decent, the portion is so damn small you are still hungry after.

Were kids fatter or skinnier 30 years ago?
Skinnier. Back in my years most classes had one, maybe two at the most, in a class. I haven't been in a class room in a long time but I'm pretty sure many of the little chubs I see around town do, so that is what my opinion is based on.

You see a lot of little chubs waddling around with Mommy these days. Soft as marshmallows and sensitive as they can be.

She looks like a man
No one with functioning eyes, and unbiased observation, would say such a silly thing. Michelle Obama was widely regarded as the most attractive and chic FLOTUS since Jacque Kennedy, and always maintained a higher approval rating than her husband, and in short, is everything a woman should be. Any other sentiment is simply biased.

My kids tote their lunch every day because they refuse to eat the crap the schools serve now.

Creating dietary guidelines isn't "impossible to execute."
Creating guidelines that aren't influenced primarily by money is. You know why the food pyramid contained primarily carbs from grains? Because way before 1972 the USDA started pushing the US farmers' primary cash crop. Refined foods are cheap. It's big business. Eating fat doesn't make kids fat and lead to diabetes. Refined carbs/sugars do. Modern problems.

Skinnier....
30 years ago, kids had recess, MUCH less homework and could play outside until dark without getting abducted/raped.
It's really sad how much our kids miss out on. We are lucky in that we can take our kids fishing and camping still but even that is getting very regulated.

The fatass adult Trumpkins want their child Trumpkins to get or stay just as fat as they are. Screw good nutrition and personal responsibility.

This is just stupid.
"personal responsibility" dictated by the federal government

The school lunch regulations put in place during the Obama adminstration were dumb as hell and complete failures.

Sunday is a day of rest. You seem to be wound a little tight today. Get stood up last night (take that any way you want to)?

personal responsibility
Me thinks you don't quite grasp this concept.
See, personal responsibility comes in when you CHOOSE to eat this over that. Government policy comes in and TELLS you to eat this. Not that.
You're a joke and should be treated as such.
