Rangers Fans: Do You Trade Darvish?

This season has gone awry quickly, with Hamels out at least 8 weeks and who knows when Beltre returns, this thought has to pop up. Darvish is in his final year of his contract, and if you read the tea leaves, he's not the biggest fan of Brocail and Banister right now, so an extension likely isn't going to happen.
I also know they were 11-16 to start 2015 and still won the West, but I don't think it can turn around again. Do you trade Darvish, and if so, what would you expect in return?

No reason to trade him before the deadline but yes I think you trade him and maybe another piece like Matt Bush or someone at the deadline.

Not a Rangers fan but if you're out of it close to the deadline I don't see why you would keep him. Even if he wanted to resign with his injury history I don't think it would be smart.
Assuming he keeps pitching the way he has I think you could get something similar to what Detroit got for Price a couple years ago

Trade him to Minnesota. We will take him!

Hell yes, especially if you know he's not gonna resign. Trade Lucroy while you're at it if that BA doesn't get above .200 and he doesn't sign extension before July. You get a boat load of prospects like they did when they made the huge trade with the Braves.
See if you can trade Dyson for a Dyson vacuum.

nonsense
Rangers have gotten plenty of value out of his contract, injuries or not. If you can resign him - do it. If you can't, trade him.

Most believe he is going elsewhere next year whether he finishes the year out with Texas or not
If we are not in it at the trade deadline, or at least within striking distance, we absolutely trade him

They absolutely need to trade him. That's the easy part. As an Astros fan, the interesting part is should we make a move for him? Trading with our hated division rivals would be weird, but he would help us get over the top and into the World Series. Still, he has had a serious injury history, and I feel like it would be very tough to resign him after a few month rental. I wouldn't mind it, but I would rather they trade for Quintana, Archer, Santana, etc.

Darvish might get $200 million

If he won't re-sign in Arlington why the hell would he sign in Houston?

I agree. That doesn't mean it makes sense to give him ~30M a year over six years.

Rangers are not done. Their lineup is completely different when they get Beltre back.
Once they start scoring runs like they did in 2015, the bullpen will have some breathing room.
I guess I am in the minority in thinking they will turn it around.

I would not want anything to do with a long term deal for him. I would be fine trading for him for a couple months as long as the price isn't the same as deals for guys like Archer and Quintana.

Yes, but given that he has never pitched a complete game and has poor records against Oakland and Cleveland, find an NL team where he can do well. That way we're not just dumping him, but thanking him for giving the Rangers the chance to show MLB what he could do.
Since the Mets may need help with Syndergaard being hurt, if they have anything in their farm system that can help rebuild the team, I would look there first (Darvish may agree to a long-term deal with them).

Also he has a poor record against Oakland. You need to do well within your division and he can't help you in that regard.
If Pittsburgh really is looking to trade Gerrit Cole talk to them.

Right now its too early in the season to tell if the Rangers will turn it around. It doesn't look good though. Id say if there not 500 by the trade deadline then trade him.
