A very interesting read on Bitcoin in 2019, if you like to stay up to date with a great summary and a very positive conclusion.
It’s a two part report with the first part discussing the tech developments and the second the financialization side of things.
Blockchain Whispers 2019 Report.
The website itself has other areas you may want to give a browse to.

When is Ethereum going back up so I can sell?
Posted on 12/4/18 at 1:52 am to ctiger69
The road back up will follow bitcoin.
But they won’t necessarily moon up quickly because so many people will dump as price goes up to a level they’ll cut losses at. That will keep knocking prices back to lower levels.
Once the supply for sale at that level is exhausted, price will rise up to the next level and repeat.
So it will take a good bit of time to leave $5000, $6000 and $8000 behind as people will dump there at or slightly in front of those levels.
But over time, the lows it gets knocked back to will be higher.
So be patient or swap for an altcoin you’d rather be in. XRP, DGB, LINK, XLM, MDA, ETC, PPT or whatever.
I’d expect many lower cap coins to fail in the next few months. So many had a stockpile of ETH from their ICO that is no longer worth enough to fund continuing operations.
Good luck.

Complete lack of real ethereum knowledge here, other than from what I have read when you see organizations like AMAZON adopting blockchain/ethereum into their ecosystems (or AWS, anyway) I think it makes it interesting...
But the open source manner of it and the fact that a company like Amazon could simply code their own version leaves me wondering does that mean serious future value OR basically nothing for the coins?
Trying to read up on it as I find it interesting, but it is definitely over my head

Amazon coding their own becomes centralized. The whole point of blockchain is redundancy and decentralization. Amazon building a blockchain is equivalent to them building their own database in Microsoft Access

Right, I get that. But the press release was more about a "managed blockchain" using the frameworks of Hyperledger Fabric (?) and Ether
LINK /
Again, I know next to nothing about Ether and the implications but it seems AWS is trying to make it MORE accessible for MORE integrations of the blockchain
What I don't know, is how in the heck this affects the coins etc. That's where I am interested to watch it unfold

It is my opinion that there is a lot of money to be made down here if one is willing to find the companies that will survive

Should I buy?
Should I buy?

No. Lot of blood still on the way.
BTC will hit 2900 at least.

I hope this kills a lot of the trash coins. That still needs to happen.

I break even at $800. This is awesome
I also bought NBG at $1.35 and it went bankrupt. Then I bought EGO at $3.35 and it’s below 60 cents I believe. Sounds like I’m doing fantastic!!

Current pricing of the larger cap coins feels like the big guys are trying to run the white trash off the golf course.

Yep.
Picked up a little ETH at $91, $88, $86 for an average entry at $88 ish.
Would dump at $105-$110.
We’ll see.
