@edwerderrfa
Rookie #Niners GM @JohnLynch49ers knew the competition. Traded in front of #Saints for Reuben Foster. Saints would have taken at 32

He would have been the best LB the Saints have had since 09' Vilma

Hell of a job by the 49ers. Got 2 extra picks to take the same guy one pick later and used one of those picks to move up just enough to get Foster.

He would have been an Anthony clone.

Could've taken him at 11 and a CB at 32.

How do they know we werent drafting an OL with Foster still on the board? Do the saints come out and say " That was our guy?"

I'd rather the top CB in the draft

What CB did you want at 32? Jackson, white and Conley all gone

What does this unemployed schmuck know?

Just kidding. Yeah RF would've been great but I think we got a good player with what was available at 32. Sucks to be teased that he almost dropped to us but oh well.

exactly

taking foster at 11 means you reached on him by about 20 picks

then reach for a CB about 10 picks too early

brilliant

Would they have all been gone though? Would an extra CB have been taken?

I could see the Saints staying away due to injury concerns, but the same injury concerns would've been there at 32 right? Just wondering the logic in passing at 11, but taking at 32.

I'm not mad at all. These guys do a shite ton of work and research and are infinitely more informed than myself. They got 2 top guys at their position.

You could argue that Reuben Foster and Quincy Wilson or Kevin King makes the saints a better team than Lattimore and Ramzcyk.

49ers were considering Foster at #2 before the piss test and they just got him at 31.
