From this thread it appears that Paul George is currently the MSB's most overrated player.
He's not a top 10 player at this point and time. Jimmy Butler had a significantly better season and he barely made anyone's top 10.

AD should be lower than tier 2. He hasn't even won a playoff game. Yeah, he puts up stats but it hasn't led to winning at all.
It is hard to rank big men. They're elite in their own right, but in today's NBA they have a hard time carrying a team on their own. It is a difficult task to separate the man from the team.

Hassan Whiteside might not be a top 10 player but would likely be a top 10 pick if every team started from scratch

4 pages and nobody has included Klay Thompson yet? On any other team, he is the leader and he is the best SG in the league (especially with Harden being a PG mainly now). My list would go..
James
Curry
Leonard
Harden
Westbrook
Durant
George
Thompson
Wall
Giannis
James
Curry
Leonard
Harden
Westbrook
Durant
George
Thompson
Wall
Giannis

Well I value defense a ton. I know the Cavs swept the Pacers but George went toe to toe with LBJ. I might would drop AD down just because he's made of glass

Counting stats were close, but every advanced stat of note favored Butler by quite a bit. He's not wrong.

We have a clear cut top 7-8 IMO
Bron, Durant, Curry, Kawhi, Westbrook, Harden, Davis, then CP3
Lebron should be the clear #1, but from 2-7 it is super hard to rank.
Lebron is #1, no debate to be had. 2-8 can go in all kinds of directions with great arguments, but I truly believe KD/Curry/Kawhi/Russ/Harden/AD/CP3 along with LeBron basically have to be your top 8 in whatever order you like.
I think those 8 dudes have created quite the gap between #9 and on.

Thompson is a great shooter and defender, he's not a top 8 player, though.

I think he benefits a crazy amount from having guys like Klay space the floor
The % of each players' 3s that are assisted tells you all you need to know there. Curry is over 60% this season, in the 50s the last 2 seasons. Klay is always over 90%, with 96% of his 3s being assisted this season, that's insane. And that's largely in part due to Curry, whereas Curry is actually creating on his own for roughly 40% of his 3s.

You list a top 10 and all of them made the playoffs but one, and his healthy team finished 14 games under .500
I think AD can be as unstoppable as anyone, but if he's really a top 10 guy, then we should be in the playoffs when he plays as much as he did this year.
OKC is terrible and Westbrook got them 13 more victories. And he guided them to 45 wins a few years ago when Durant was out the majority of the year.
The Pacers don't have a great team either this year, yet they found a way to stay above .500
I'm the biggest Pels fan around, and I wouldn't put AD in the top 10, at least not until he starts getting his team to the postseason. He is easily one of the most talented players in the league, but is yet to figure out how to turn that into victories for his team on a consistent basis.

I'm just glad no one put DeRozan in their top 10
