Baton Rouge – The North Baton Rouge community united Saturday evening in front of Triple S Food Mart on North Foster Drive to bring awareness and the importance of togetherness. Store owner, Abdul Muflahi and the Nation of Islam hosted a Stop the Killing rally.

A young child proudly gave a powerful message. He posed a question to the audience. “Have we been so conditioned to being ruled that we dare not dream ourselves as leaders and rulers for our people?”

Another event speaker called for an economic boycott in Baton Rouge. This will be the first step of action for change. They will boycott the Mall of Louisiana and Wal-Mart.
quote:
State Representative C. Denise Marcelle, a special guest, said, “Stand together united and we need to have a plan.” Marcelle has been a voice for the community for years.
quote:
The Stop the Killing rally will continue work with the community in hopes of uniting everyone. They plan to meet every other Saturday until the city of Baton Rouge receives justice for Alton Sterling.

I am all for giving up 25,000 square miles (area about half size of Louisiana) to create an independent state of Nubania

I will never understand why the BLM movement chooses some of the biggest low life's to forward their agenda. There are plenty of better cases that show police violence. Why pick a POS by every measurable factor like Alton Sterling and Michael Brown.

Maybe I can start going back to the mall now. Hopefully they'll boycott the AMC theater as well

Yrp.
I don't get why nobody talks about Philando Castile. His worst offense was being a lousy driver (otherwise he wouldn't have qualified for a CCW).

Boycott...
When? It makes for a very pleasant shopping experience.

This article sounds like it was written by Gravy Chambers. It clearly presents the evidence why the officers are innocent, then paints them as guilty. Then it goes into big plans like economic boycotts and uniting the city and meeting every 2 weeks, none of which will happen

uniting the city
Call me crazy, but I don't think they intend on uniting the entire city.

A young child clearly came up with that question himself. He wasn't coached or anything.

Boycott should be helpful for Store owner, Abdul Muflahi.

I think Store owner/host Abdul Muflahi may think he has the answer.

I think you misunderstand their agenda. They aren't looking to end police brutality, they are trying to render the police powerless. I think that is very clear based on the individuals they support.
