I think Motiejunas leaves as he will get a larger contract than we will offer (and more playing time). Cunningham will opt out in search of more money. I would expect us to re-sign him at a raise. Holiday will likely re-sign at a higher contract than he is worth.

Yeah. I would think we have to.

I can't imagine him taking minutes over Davis, Cousins, or Ajinca at Center. I also would rather see more Cunningham Diallo playing with those guys than him also.

I can't see a scenario with Boogie on board that we don't stretch Asik now. We would be complete idiots not to.

I don't think anyone has a clue. Too many unknowns. Can we afford to keep Holiday or will someone like Philly blow up the price? Do we target someone it just takes our 2018 pick or hopefully less and filler to get like Rubio/Lin/Barton/Chandler? Or do you after go Dragic or Bledsoe which probably involves a pick plus Moore and Frazier, maybe even Diallo.

What would be idiotic is stretching him if you do not need to and having him impact your cap space for 7 more years. Right now he's cap space and a roster spot. If we operate above the cap we don't need his cap space. If we trade multiple players we may not need his roster spot.

Wait to stretch him 1 year and you reduce the number of years he's on your cap by a year. If you can hold out 2 years he's an expiring contract at the least, and if they grandfather him in like they usually do in new CBAs, he's a partially guaranteed contract that will let you trade $3 million for about $18-$20 million. Couple that with future picks and you could add something decent to the roster. You only get that by being patient and seeing him as cap space and a roster spot, not a basketball player that makes you angry.

Unless Jrue goes elsewhere, I seriously doubt we stretch Asik. Makes too much sense to operate above the cap and make trades. Too difficult to make any real room.

One day people will realize this.

I don't know but who's ready to make an offer for Carmelo, b/c he won't be a knick next season.

This isn't new news but Dell isn't really one to test the market. I'm much more scared of Demps raising the price on himself than the 76ers bidding us up.

I think we could do a sign and trade with the knicks melo for Jrue then use our 2018 pick to get a pg like Rubio

Would Melo buy in and handle not being the man and maybe not even #2? Do you have to start Solo at SG to have a viable defense with Melo at the 3? Does that even make it a viable defense?

I think you could start Moore and then trade the first for Rubio and the defense would be fine. I also think we would need to play a more halcourt offense but I think we should do the if we have melo or because I that would benefit the two bugs we have

Who guards Kawhi/Hayward/Butler/George etc. ?
Melo makes no sense on this roster.
