Which of these 2 4Runners would you choose?

I asked a few weeks ago about older 4Runners and got a lot of good responses. I don't really like the new ones and a older one is pretty perfect for what I'm looking for. After looking, I think I have narrowed down to these 2. They are both the same color, so that's moot.
1) 2004 Sport
163k Miles
Leather interior and sunroof
$6,500
2) 2008 Limited
159k miles
Leather, sunroof, heated seats, gps, etc...
$10,400
I can afford both, but want opinions on preferred model and what is simply the better deal.

They are both 4th Generation 4Runners... personally I don't give a crap about heated seats and GPS, so I'd save the $4K and go with the 2004 Sport edition.
Does either of them have the V8?

Need to have a mechanic look them over at that mileage.

Only basic diff is the front grille really. Could go with #1 which is obviously less miles per year and spend what you want to upgrade the sound and GPS to 2017 tech.

If I'm going to buy something with that kind of mileage, I'm going with 1.

Get maintenance records, Toyota a strict requirements per mile age. Both of these could need a timing belt, water pump and pulleys.

If condition of the 2 are about equal, then I'd go with #1 and save the $4,000. Mileage is similar. Heated seats are useless in the south. And if GPS is a huge concern, you can get a decent aftermarket unit with that $4,000 in savings and still come out way ahead.

Probably the 2004 if they are both in the same general condition.

I'd go #1 and use the added savings for wheels and aftermarket accessories
But you have to serious look at the condition of the leather interior on both before making a choice.

4runners of that era were very good.
The interiors were prone to dash cracks (which are easy to spot) and you may want someone to look closely at the front hubs on both models.
