Suburban areas (like Orange, Riverside and Ventura Counties in CA) have shifted in recent years from solid Republican to solid Democratic

Probably all of them as any city of any size in the U.S. has declared itself a sanctuary city.
On the flip side of your remark, pretty much all of the fastest-growing cities are sanctuary cities as well.

Socio-pilitical demographics are going to flip across the board very soon IMO. Tough to predict how this influx of working poor will affect urban areas.

In fifth place is the county I live in, Suffolk County. It is on Long Island. There is no city in it, some small mom and pop towns. Plus we are if I recall correctly fifth on your list with like 4,000 people moving out.
Look at the other cities and counties mentioned, two thousand moving away and so on.
Could it not just be retirees moving to Florida as the population ages?

Net growth--185,246 (7.8%)
Yes I think a lot of the growth is actually in Dallas. Don't you?
