Never listened but have always heard good things about it. Any particular ones y'all recommend starting with?

The one about the Mongols is a personal favorite. I wasn't too familiar with them and learned quite a bit.

they're all excellent, imo, so it really don't matter where you start. I started with the Wrath of Khans and it remains my favorite series. Just finished up with King of Kings series a few nights ago, was excellent.

They are all terrific. The epics/multi-parts are great and have great detail. Blueprint for Armageddon or Wrath of the Khans are my favorites of the later ones available. I'm planning to buy the 1-30 shows once I finish up the old Jocko Podcasts.
My recommendation is to start with the oldest one available for free, and work your way forward.

Depends on what period of history most interest you.
I highly recommend blueprint for Armageddon.
Wrath of the Khans is amazing
Ghosts of the Ostfront
Punic nightmare
Prophets of doom and Thor's angels are some great single episodes
Really you can listen to all of them and you won't be disappointed.

I've enjoyed most of them. Prophets of Doom and WWI are my favorites.
I always question if I'm getting a revisionist version of the events, though. Perhaps it's just me and the times were in; I don't fully trust anything I hear nowadays.
