The White House on Tuesday backed off of previous attempts to tie the success of the stock market to its economic agenda as stocks slid.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer said it wasn’t fair to judge the Trump administration’s economic policy based on the performance of the stock market.

President Trump, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and several White House aides previously claimed credit as the Dow Jones Industrial Index soared to record highs following Trump’s election and inauguration.

Suddenly, it's not right to do that.
LMAO

This administration, especially Trump and Spicer are nonstop entertainment.

Given that Obama presided over the greatest stock mark fail since the great depression this will be allowed. If anybody should understand front running it would be fans of USC and liberals

While the MSM, who refused to give Trump any credit for the big gains, suddenly blame him for any dips. And I'm not a Trumpkin fwiw.

No. I am saying Trump and Spicer have no credibility and constitute a two ring circus

He has no credibility. Zero. Job reports were false when they helped Obama but certainly true when they're good for Trump .

I mean he seriously said negative news is fake news. Like a little kid who sticks fingers in his ears and yells when someone tells him something he doesn't want to hear.

Am afraid that some of the rise was euphoric driven. How much? No clue but some. Held what few positions we have at pre-election levels. Enjoyed the rise but didn't get in deeper despite advice to do otherwise.
