This is one for all u gullible idiots that don't real conspiracies exist.

The sugar conspiracy

In a nutshell adkins was right Sugar makes u fat. Big Sugar just like the damn tobacco companies discovered this in the late 50s and created a marketing campaign to blame something else....fat. They then hired some doctors from Harvard to do a bogus study and generations of us (including me) ate skinless chicken breast and lowfat diets that never worked. It didn't work because it was always bullshite.

I got a headache from deciphering that

You know what else makes people fat?

Sitting on their asses and eating fast food and not getting any exercise/physical activity.

If you are active, you can eat pretty much whatever you want. Moderation and normal size portions along with exercise of some sort is key.

Sugar > high fructose corn syrup

I think syrup is used more than sugar these days.

I left out drinking water.

It's really not that hard, but people think that dieting will help. It won't if you don't change your habits and lifestyle. It may help temporarily, but after you get off the diet you go back to the same bad habits you will gain the weight back and typically more.

Since I've turned 40 I've also noticed that I can't get away with nearly as much as I could even 5 years ago. So the older you get, the less leeway you have too, obviously.

Meh. There is an age where diet takes over. Just the reality of getting older.

Worked for me til my mid 40s. You have to watch what you eat then unless you're a genetic freak

Yeah I had to add a follow-up post for that very thing. I turn 42 later this year and can already tell I've got to be a little more strict.

Although eating 2 rice krispie treats tonight didn't help.

I never ate unfried chicken or ice cream with sucralose until after high school, and that's because I was no longer burning a million calories a day playing sports year round. People don't need diets, $100 watches that measure walking, or slipping a disc doing some fad workout. Join a league and run around doing something fun, bball, flag football, tennis, something that you'll want to do and not dread

I think the increased use of preservatives is directly related to people living longer than they used to.

Lololol over 50 and still fill the need to tell internet strangers "what a beast" you are/were?

Your life makes me cringe
