What will it take for new coach to get LSU in the running for Shaq's son?

Although S hareef O'Neal is just a junior, would hope to see LSU become a challenger to land him.

Do you think Shaquille would at least encourage him to give his alma mater a shot if the program improves?

What advice would you give him if he was your son?

Heard Shaq talk on the subject some, said he would let his son make up his own mind, but feels that it may be extremely hard on him to go to LSU. Being in his fathers shadow constantly (and literally win in front of the practice facility) as well as impossible standards that people may put on him with the last name o'neal.

I hope he is a tiger, but at the end of the day, I am not going to sweat it. We have so many other things to worry about/ look forward to for our basketball team.

I have a feeling he is another one and done, although I think he would be great for the Tigers, guarantee this one comes down to a California school or Kentucky

Who's to say he would really even want to come to LSU? Fair or not, LSU fans would judge him against his father. Shaq was a monster at LSU and remains a legend here. It would be a lot of pressure on that kid to live up to his father's ghost.

The only coach for whom Shaq would send his son to LSU sits four rows behind center court at every home game.

He has already expressed interest in LSU, and I would assume the reason he was/is leaning UK is because of our ex coach. Now, I think he is all LSU.
