Are we going to gloss over progressive totalitarians' very difficult relationship with free speech?

You're talking about a small minority of liberalism

Those are not liberals

Those are contemporary progressives....and it isn't a small minority anymore. They push political correctness to silence dissent, and when that fails they get violent.

This thread is about one guy.

The bills states that a person commits the offense when they prevent lawful work, interfere with people entering their place of employment, or impede traffic on public roads, railways, or other forms of travel. People can also be arrested if they engage in mass picketing at a private residence that interferes with the entrance or exit of the house or if there is a threat of violence.

This is all fake news. I figured these laws are already on the books.

I don't see the issue here. What am I missing that is causing the left to melt this time?

Fake news. The bill does not make protesting against the law. Amazing the left caught lying again.

How about read the bill before posting next time. Oh wait you did read it and decided to lie about it anyway!

The focus of this bill is not on picketing per se but rather on individuals who disrupt the activities of others. The law appears to fully permit protest but prohibits protesters from interfering with others. Someone can protest or picket a government building, but do the protesters have a right to prevent a person from getting into the building? I am all for peaceful protest, but individuals do not have a right to protest if in so doing they disrupt the activities of others.

I am not saying that this law is constitutional--I haven't read it in its entirety--but protesters do not have a right to interfere with others going about their business. If the law only prohibits actions by protesters that interfere with others, then I do not see a problem.

They aren't liberals. They are mainstream progressives. Liberalism is dying.
