Let me guess, you probably think Les Miles was a great developer of talent too.

Coach needs to be fired for running Hamilton into the ground like that

If you're going to reach as far back as Garrett Temple and Brandon Bass, why didn't you include Pete Maravich, Shaquille O'Neal, and Tyrus Thomas in your analysis?

We have 9 players in the association and we ABSOLUTELY SUCK. I bet less than 5 schools have that many current nba players- and people doubt we are a sleeping giant!!!!!!

Your list sucks. A lot of those guys didn't play for JJ

The players with more contributions to their teams in NBA (Bass, Hamilton, Temple and Thornton) are from pre-Jones era.

Because this is only about the LSU players CURRENTLY in NBA (as of February 17, 2017, 10:12 AM CT according to the link from LSUSports.net).

Best defender and hustler I have seen at LSU, the job he did to JJ Redick was beautiful. The kids heart drive and determination was like no other

Brandon Bass?
Garrett Temple?
Marcus Thornton?
What do these guys have to do with Johnny Jones?
ETA: I see that this has been brought up. Why don't you just remove all those who weren't in the Jones era and change Hambone's minutes so this will make more sense?

Leaving money out of the equation, did leaving early help Martin, Mickey, and Quarterman's game to any significant degree. I'm seeing guys who are pretty much useless to their teams despite the money shelled out for them.
Square that with the Tim Duncan's of the world who stayed in school for the full 4 years....he's a first ballot HOF'er. and David West who is still playing and has a career average of 15 ppg.
My point is that unless they were some kind of phenom like Durant, Bryant or Anthony Davis, leaving early did not help these kids or their NBA teams and hurt the program a LSU
Generally if they stay for three they tend to do well in the pros. Four is even better. Look at the LSU players like Temple and Thornton who stayed for the full ride, they are still playing today

Unless you believe those guys were ready to start in the NFL rt out of highschool. Which would be pretty dumb on your part.
