add #42 if you'd like too.

As team needs stand now and how the talent sizes up I think Edge Rusher at 11 and CB at 32 would be the perfect match to needs.

Combo possibilities by order of possible availability IMO-

#11
Charlton
Barnett
Allen
Thomas

#32
Yikes, the more I survey the CB class the more I see the rankings all over the place. From late 1st Rd to mid 2nd you prolly can come up with a list of ten guys ranked anywhere from #25 to 50 overall on big boards. Looks like there will definitely be a good one available.

The ones I am seeing mocked most frequently in the #32 range/area are:

Adoree Jackson USC
Sidney Jones Washington
Quincy Wilson Florida

We have hashed out a lot on the edge rushers but I'm still working to get a handle on these guys. Anyone think they have any particular insight or preference of corners at #32?

I can't imagine Sean Payton passing on Evan Engram at #32.

I like Adoree Jackson but not at 32. Especially not since we signed Ginn and he will presumably handle returns. His coverage is not good enough to justify the spot.

I'd take one of the Florida kids or Jones though.

I'd be cool with DE at 11.

And next 2 picks going CB

We use these picks on front 7 which have more impact on every down. Stop the run. Create third and long. Get pressure. Force turnovers. It all starts up front.

Fwiw, Sidney Jones is the top CB on Mike Mayock's board. He has the Saints taking Sidney Jones at #11.

At 32 I'd love Mccaffrey. This offense has been missing a weapon like him. He could get 8-10 carries a game; 5-7 receptions. He would also be a nice special teams player.

they will draft our next QB with the 32nd pick. Give them the fifth year option. Pat mahones will be wearing number 8 for the saints

Barnett or Thomas at 11
White or McCaffery at 32

However, Loomis will do something stupid by trading both picks to move up 3-4 spots and we will draft a bust.

I think the consensus is
#11 best "EDGE"
#32 best corner

I don't see a realistic scenario where this doesn't happen unless they fall in love with a LB for the late first. For them not to get the edge at 11 I don't even know.

ETA: I'm all for Thomas/Barnett/Charlton at DE and White/Jackson at CB
