Which State has the strongest "Good Ol' Boys" system?

When I lived in Louisiana I was fascinated just how deeply entrenched some of the industries and politics were in the state, and reading Kingfish and some of the threads (especially the riverboat pilot ones) posted here helped me to understand just some of the basics of the system.
Is Louisiana just an outlier, or are there some strong/stronger localized Good Ol'Boys systems in other states? And what are they?

It exists in most states, but LA is definitely the most well-known for it.

I assume the union heavy states in the northeast are essentially good ol boy states.

Auburn football program.

LA is the worst at a state level I think. New Jersey might be close. There are some regions of other states - West Texas and Chicago come to mind - where it's bad as well.

Illinois' is quite strong. New Jersey, Mississippi, Maryland - basically any state that has pervasive corruption.

Illinois might give Louisiana a run for its money

Manhattan Jews definitely have a "good ol' boys" network.
I would argue the strongest because the elite of NY have a lot of influence.

NY. Even the cross guards have a union. Talk about a racket.

New York City.

New Orleans makes LA the runaway winner but i wouldn't describe the nepotism as "good ole boy" so much as "8th generation bro"

North east isn't any better with the unions in every industries pocket.

LOUISIANA and it's not even close. When Eddie dibartolo says we are the worst, it has to be true. He said people don't want envelopes they want brinks trucks.
