Don't f*** this thread up people.

Thanks admins for your patience & forbearance.

This is a legit question, and I fully know that the "prison signal to others that one was willing to engage in gay sex" explanation is bunk, but could you please explain saggin' to me? This, more than any aspect of urban culture is mind blowing to me on many levels. You seem like someone who has never sagged, but perhaps you could offer insight into why it's a thing that anyone would want to do. TIA! Cheers for doing this! Great thread!

I never sagged my pants my dad didn't play that. I hate it honestly. I makes us look so bad.

've never read it. I'm not asking you to lay it all out again if you've done it a bunch. Obviously, though, you're in the 8%.

Cliff notes: black voting block is a holdover from an era when it was necessary to induce any sort of political change. Now the phenomenon does the opposite--it cheapens the voting power of black Americans because we as a collective do not hold our representatives accountable on the issues, only vote for the D's in some vague hope that they'll take care of the demographic instead of exploiting it for political gain and increasing divisive rhetoric/policing of thought along racial lines to maintain the status quo.

Due diligence is the only thing that can stem the tide, IMO, especially as the backgrounds of black Americans become more eclectic. Sadly, lack of due voting diligence is a problem nationwide, not just within the black demographic.

1. Why do a large portion of black folks harp anger toward white people regarding slavery when no white person alive has ever had a slave and no living black person has ever been a slave?

It is the lack of recognition of it. Think of it this way this country earn its prosperity off the labor of blacks, but when you have the descendants of those blacks who struggle to find employment grow up in failing school districts and always are confronted with the pull yourself up by the boot straps argument. I guarantee nobody would want to be black during the 60s. Jim Crow was born from the hatred that was developed during slavery.

2. On that same theme, do black people hold extreme anger towards the africans who sold other africans to those wanting to have slaves?

No contact with them, but when AAs come across Africans there is some animosity. Like calling them African Booty Scratchers.

OK. Why do black people vote 92% for democrats despite the diversity of ages, career paths, education levels, income levels, wealth levels, family statuses, geographical interests and on and on?

IDK I wish they wouldn't. Black people have two issues when it comes to voting.

1. We vote out of tradition
2. We vote out of fear.

But I do believe blacks are now starting to see the Dems for what they are.

What song and what movie takes you back to your adolescence?

Man I could go on forever about this. I walked past a coworkers office and I heard that kiss me under the milky twilight song and thought damn that song is old it took me back I was really young when that came out but I remembered it.
