How do hypocritical Democrat shreiking harpies defend their complete silence on this. All they do is run around screaming Trumps a Nazi but crickets on treatment of women by their new buddies, the Muslims.

Because it's part of their culture. Who are you to say their culture is right or wrong?

The group of Democrats that blindly defends Muslims does so with equal ferver to the group of Republicans that blindly hates them. Both are equally ignorant.

Do you frickers wake up in the middle of the night with this seething anger against Democrats and Muslims and just have to find a place to express yourself? Maybe you should try jacking off instead and then go back to sleep.

A valid question....

the same is true of White Nationalism....if you are going to be tolerant you have to tolerate intolerance....and there is not a more intolerant lot on the planet than the tolerant...

Seriously....put all of these people to work in good paying careers where they can have a family and go on a vacation every year without having to worry about losing everything and all of a sudden you won't won't find a more moderate person on the planet. All of our nations ills have roots in the diminishment of the middle class....

by turning it into a powerful "Choice"

...

while ignoring the entire reason why women are pressured into wearing the hijab and the concept of institutional sexism

What I don't understand is how the left holds up these hijab wearers as some sort of symbol to be admired, for their bravery.

Like the fencer gal in the Olympics. She wore a hijab to compete, and they just drooled over her, like... she's wearing a scarf... she's so brave! Let her carry the flag at the opening ceremony!

She wears the hijab because she is Muslim. Her religion requires her to wear it. They do not require men to wear it. Her religion requires her to dress modestly. If it's her choice to do so, she is complicit in a sexist standard that normalizes unfair treatment of women, and represents the Muslim viewpoint that women should be submissive and adherent to their rules. And somehow, Western women remain silent about this.

Personally, I'm alright with her decision to wear it. That's fine. It's her religion. It requires no personal bravery to follow the rules of your faith. My problem is with Western women (feminists) who talk about women breaking barriers and shattering the patriarchy... yet, remain curiously silent about the most patriarchal societies on planet Earth, the countries of the Muslim world, and their demonstrated inequity toward women.
