What's the single most important part of the golf swing in your opinion?

curious to hear y'all's thoughts.


i'd say "releasing" the club or straightening the trail elbow after the ball.

Lower body turn. The face can be as square as you want it to be, but if you don't swing from the ground up you'll get no distance or spin when hitting onto the green.

Start to finish. If you have a kink in your swing, it shows in your shot.

It's gotta be keeping your lead arm relatively straight, no? People who bend to he frick out of their arms through the backswing have the worst shoulder turn and the most inconsistent contact because their shoulder turn sucks and they can't find the bottom of their swing and they bend their knees all over the place to find it and shite.

Having a solid front arm checks a ton of boxes for me. Most of all it keeps damn near every aspect of my swing consistent enough to play respectable golf even when something might be off.
