Why is this "news"?

Damn. Just saw this thread and some of you are emotionally unhinged. A man dies and jokes ensue? Have a heart folks! Instead of using this as a punch line, count your blessings and say a prayer.

It's OK to be against illegal immigration, but relishing on the death of someone who seeked a better life is just heartless.

You know, I dislike our immigration system (or lack thereof) as much as anyone but frick you people for finding joy in this. There is nothing christian nor human about mocking and cheering this. The man made a mistake by being here illegally but it pains me to think about how bad he saw his life becoming if he decided ending it would be better.

105 people die every minute on this Earth. You weep for them all?

People die, it happens. Get over it.

But I cried when The Champ died. frick Ricky Schroeder...

Like most people, you too whether you admit it or not I don't care why people off themselves that I don't know and have never met.

Especially when a story is written to try to do exactly that.

People make choices, they made theirs. I'm perfectly fine with them making a choice that doesn't affect me one bit.

22 veterans commit suicide every day. Maybe if he wasn't breaking in here we could have spent more time on those veterans.

I don't think these individual cases are a good argument against deportations but the celebratory tone here is fricked up

bullshite. The guy committed suicide the number one most selfish thing he can do. This wasn't anything else's fault besides him being a fricknut. I have no pitty for someone that does that.

You might not want the country to enforce our laws against ILLEGAL immigration, but most of us do.

It's possible to want the USA to enforce immigration laws while also understanding the despair this man must have felt if he would rather jump off a bridge than return to Mexico. Compassion doesn't cost anything.

Sad.

But he is 100% responsible for his demise.

Not Trump, not law enforcement, not the laws of the U.S

I am certain beyond any doubt that supporters of the Diem regime felt the same way as Trump supporters do about his ole bot offing himself in late June of 1963 when one victim of their policies offed himself. I am certain many of them also said things akin to good riddance to bad rubbish....and it eventually lead to their demise....
