That's outright falsehoods.
The question is why did Obama's Admin not tell Trump.... and why the Intel community waited 6 days after he was sworn in to contact the WH on it.
If everybody was worried about the country FIRST, Then Trump would have been told well before then. They didn't and it's not by chance that the people who elected not to tell him were Obama hold overs!
That's not a peaceful transferring of power. That's a political hit!

I was speaking more to the idea they shouldn't be spying on citizens at all, not simply not sharing it. Shame Trump didn't sign away that EO. I'd really like to see more regard given to our rights to privacy, tbf.

I applaud a complete and open Flynnvestigation. Being able to openly read documents the committee will produce as a result is a great idea.
This should be fun to watch.
You leftists should be Trump's biggest cheerleaders when it comes to draining the swamp. Learn to MAGA!

It won't be under radar.
If Trump doesn't clean house and demand the GOP use the nuclear option to get his team in place, more of this will happen.

So what happens if Flynn tells Pence the substance of his call with the ambassador and it turns out it really was a totally innocuous, surface-level congratulatory call?
Then that may be why Flynn was still around to this week?
frick if I don't know man.

If there really is no fire with this smoke, why didn't the administration fight it or counter it?
Because as its been pointed out, the staffing situation and messaging in the west wing isn't exactly stable and the Bannon/Preibus cage match isn't helping things and giving equal power to those two was a mistake.
Trump needs a strong Chief of Staff that runs a tight ship. He should've forced Newt to say no to the job.

Oh that backwards. If there was, they would be fighting.
Flynn lost his trust. This isn't HS friendships.... this is the US gov at the highest level. If Trump can't trust him.... he has to go.

Your delusion that Obama continues to rule the world from the shadows despite super American macho TRUMP dominating liberal pussies for the last two years is laughable.
And you continue to miss the point: Flynn doesn't resign if there really is nothing there.
You clowns threw shite against the wall against at the Obama administration for eight years and they ever had a resignation or a scandal this big.
Just admit it. Flynn was an incompetent wacko from the start and he couldn't play at a high level.
Trump needs to have a come to Jesus meeting, prolly let Preibus go and get Newt in there, develop an agenda and implement it.
This first month has been pretty light on the objective winning.

This is shite that police states like Russia and China do and its disheartening to see you as a lawyer siding with unelected bureaucrats just because you don't like one of the President's advisors.

You guys can pretend Flynn wasn't controversial if you want
No shite he was controversial. That's why Trump liked him and why he's one of the OGs of the Trump campaign. But I won't deny that he has a habit of going off the reservation but that can be argued to be a good thing against an IC that's been out of control for decades now.

being this unhinged about team politics probably isn't good for you
Nah, I'm just seeing the bigger picture and prefer to side with the duly and fairly elected state over anonymous career bureaucrats and spooks that are likely not personally trustworthy.

Are you arguing we shouldn't be listening to the calls of the Russian ambassador?
Again, none of this happens if Flynn doesn't lie. That speaks to no one else but Michael Flynn.
Government bureaucrats leaking to the Fourth Estate is as old as America itself. There a reason it's the First Amendment. You guys needs to quit looking for external folks to blame and realize Flynn was a flawed guy from the getgo and couldn't handle the pressure of the job.
ETA: and I'll give you a hint on the next problem area... this Preibus/Bannon co-chairmanship is not sustainable. There needs to be a clear heiracrchy and it's most likely going to be Preibus who gets moved (although I'd rather Bannon go as I can't stand his ideology but I'll call it how I see it- Preibus is the odd man out)

You're naive if you really think Obama isn't going to have his hands in Trump related topics over the next four years.
He does not have it in his character to be gracious like Bush 43 and bow out. Or hell even Jimmy Carter who was still fairly activist in his post presidency.

You clowns threw shite against the wall against at the Obama administration for eight years and they ever had a resignation or a scandal this big.
Because they had a willing and compliant media covering for them and this is off the top of my head....
Fast and Furious with Eric Holder.
Susan Rice with benghazi and the youtube vid on sunday shows.
Ben Rhodes with cash gate in iran.
Hillary Clinton with uranium for Russia.
The media made them go away. You're not going to win this point.

I wanted Newt as CoS in the first place. The west wing is the last place to be having a power struggle among senior staffers.

Do ponder that one my young friend.

This is nothing like a police state. Unelected bureaucrats working to get unelected people canned for being bad people doesn't bother me.

An IC that has been out of control for pretty much its entire existence if you define "control" as being a mindless arm of political masters. However, during that time, they've also been pretty damn effective. They've certainly done far more to protect this country from terrorism than Trump can or will do.

Nah, I'm just seeing the bigger picture and prefer to side with the duly and fairly elected state over anonymous career bureaucrats and spooks that are likely not personally trustworthy.
Where is this narrative even coming from? When groups of people who've spent their lives working to promote what they believe are America's interests en masse want an influential guy out, I listen. That's something you can do when you're not beholden to a single figure.
If you want to say the IC is myopic or needs a lot of cleansing, that's fine. But Flynn was a shite bag and he met a shite bag's end. The IC was right.
When we determine that the IC or some other agency/ies are targeting another Trump figure, I'll assess that and see whether I think there is validity to what they're saying. A good alternative might be for the President to listen to what they're saying on the front end and make good faith determinations about his people, something he quite obviously didn't do with Flynn.

So tell me how that swamp gets drained?
Transparency sacrificed for government efficiency?
If you find someone actively leaking then prosecute away, but how do you force a reporter to reveal a source?
And taking it further, what does that do to public transparency and governing with the consent of the governed?

Right. There's no doubt there's a struggle going on between Obama loyals and Trumps people. It's fact. Unless Trump does a purge, it's not going to change.
