Chasing Classic Cars and Jay Leon's Garage are probably my favorites. I really like the stuff Dave Kindig does too, for the most part.
Diesel Bros builds some awesome trucks that are actually very off-road capable too. Don't care for some of their antics on the show.
Fandom works is alright but the show has too much "drama." And I use it in quotes because it all seems scripted. I do like how they always have a day counter on how long the car has been in the shop. Gives you a better idea of how long these builds actually take.
ETA, to better answer the question it would be CCC for something that I want factory restored, like an old Ferrari. Kindigit for a hotrod/showcar type piece, and Diesel Bros for an over the top 4x4.

Restoration Garage and Chasing Classic Cars
Those two shows are the least scripted in my opinion.

I like Counting Cars even though I'm not really into cars or anything like that.

For the work they do ,not for the show I'd be torn between Bitchin rides (kindig it) or overhaulin

Wheeler Dealers.
I'm really starting to like this show.

Wheeler Dealers is another good one for the quality of the show. Great instructional show, even though just about all of us don't have a private lift.
Probably wouldn't bring them a car to restore first tho.

Anybody that says anything other than Chip Foose is a fool. Chip Foose is an icon and should be anyone's first choice to restore a car. So Overhaulin it is for me.

Overhaulin' to fix my ride because Chip Foose is a legend. But I like watching Fast and Loud more than any of the others.

I like WD but Mike must pay Edd $1.00 an hour. They calculate the profit on the car flip with no labor added.
Mike's says we made a nice tidy profit of $2,000 after Edd did some work under the bonnet and adding some shiny bits.
More like Edd spent 30-40 hours of work pulling the engine and doing body/electrical work.

Gas Monkey Garage is the only right answer here

Big Easy motors was a waste. So many set-ups.
I love how the trailer at the Hi-Lo tire shop just happened to have nearly new 1967 Mustang hubcaps.
(people who drave driven down claiborne and seen that place know why thats funny)

Well they're figuring if you do the same things to a car yourself you'd be saving the labor.

I'd rather Wayne carini restore my 1965 Ferrari than chips shop. For a custom hotrod it would be chip all the way, but he's not the best at every car. If you think so you're a fool.
ETA That is if I actually HAD a 1965 Ferrari.
