Pretty sure Purdue fans would kill for a 4 loss season
Cousins is one of the winningest QBs in B1G history and Wilson instantly elevated Wisconsin when he got there

Umm Prescott lost how many games at end of the year after beating bad teams? Brees lost how many games the Rose Bowl year? 4 (including the Bowl).
So do not think they were unbeaten or these great winners.
You act like Kizer had a healthy team around him, he didn't.
Kizer also took his team to a Fiesta Bowl as a sophomore after starting the year as the back up (and he and Fuller were the only players worth a damn in that game, for that matter), but the bigger problem this past year was on the other side of the ball. That was the worst Notre Dame defense we've had since I started following the program.
That's not to say Kizer had a particularly good year, because he didn't.

You are so uniformed about B1G QB
Wisconsin was winning Rose Bowls and going to Rose Bowls before Wilson, Wilson was only there for a year. But look at his NC St teams.
Cousins does not have best record QB in school history and never played in a NY6 game.

Wilsons Wisconsin team was Hail Mary away from possibly playing for the National Championship
Posted on 2/14/17 at 11:32 am to RLDSC FAN
I like the QB class a lot. I don't think there are any immediate successful guys but I think 2-3 will develop into playoff caliber QBs. You all can just say black QBs scare you

Wrong Wilson was at Wisconsin in 2011, drafted in 12.
They had 2 regular season losses. They were 11-3. Lost in the Rose Bowl to Oregon
They lost back to back to Michigan St and tOSU were never ranked higher than 4.
So nice try.

Right and without the Hail Mary they would've had a 12-1 record to be compared with 11-1 OKSU, 11-1 Bama, and 11-1 Stanford. AKA "possibly playing for the national championship"

Both were hailmarys, for what it's worth.

I don't like any of them unless you are getting some value on Watson and maybe Kelly in the 6th or 7th.

Would love let Drew mentor him for a year or 2.
Why do people always say this? Professional quarterbacks are not in the business of mentoring/grooming guys that want to take their jobs.

Special exceptions
Note: This category is for players who are not ranked in the top 5 at their position but have special value elsewhere (special teams, for example).
1. Adoree' Jackson, USC
2. Curtis Samuel, Ohio State
3. Chidobe Awuzie, Colorado
4. Desmond King, Iowa
5. Adam Shaheen, Ashland
But where is Jabrill Peppers?
This was the perfect place to rank his overrated ability in a top 5 list.

Through observation alone one could gain a ton of knowledge from watching a guy like Brees every day

Never been a winner, worse under pressure, worse in the spotlight, never been a big "team" guy, etc.
I just don't get it. What are people seeing?

Running Back
1. Dalvin Cook, Florida State
2. Leonard Fournette, LSU
No problem with this, but some people will object. Cook has better vision and quickness. Probably similar top end speed, but Cook gets there faster.
Fournette obviously has better size, strength, and power though.
I think Fournette has severely underrated receiving abilities and that is something people say Cook is better at. It was just the offense they were in.

That is absolutely true no doubt. There is a lot of value to just watching how guys like Brees prepares and goes about their business every day. But this idea that these vet QBs are gonna take the young guys under their wing and be BFFs and mentoring them is silly.
