That is what I just posted. It makes no sense. Unless sanctions were discussed but not in a political way of any such promises. Which is how Flynn took the initial questioning.
Also how did this entire thing start? Did the Obama admin enlist spooks to do this? Maybe we should listen to all of Obamas phone calls. He claimed Executive Privilege at least once...
I am not dismissing this; but Obamas admin was left alone to do whatever they wanted. Obama also had a high turnover rate of admin and cabinet, and never was there a big deal because they told the media to stfu about it all.

Yes, director of the DIA. Honestly, he weaseled his way into Trump's inner circle by (and he was correct on this, so I'm clear) warning way in advance of the risks of trying to topple Assad.
Flynn was about the least impressive member of Team Trump - I get he wanted to have some Democrats, but he should have pulled in the chubby gal from North Dakota or Manchin.
